Lambert Soccer spent their Spring Break in Hilton Head, SC, enjoying a day at the beach before they played a challenging schedule of matches against local high school teams from South Carolina and Georgia.
On Thursday, both teams played Hilton Head High School. The Girls came out 7-3 winners, and the Boys earned a 3-0 shutout, their ninth of the season.
Friday, only the Boys had a match, this time against Islands High School from Glynn County, GA. After some back and forth, the Longhorns pulled away for a 5-2 win.
Saturday were the matches everyone was anticipating against perennial 6A powerhouse Richmond Hill High School. The Girls made quick work of it, cruising to a 8-0 win and claiming their ninth shutout of the season. In the finale, the Boys went down a goal early and came back to tie the match 1-1 by halftime.
