Rebecca Parker

Coach Parker enters her fifth year as a Girls Varsity Assistant Coach.

Education and Certification
Coach Parker earned her BS in Secondary Education Social Science from the University of Alabama and her MA in Health Studies, also from the University of Alabama. Coach Parker holds her USSF “D” Coaching License and teaches AP Psychology here at Lambert.

High School Coaching Experience
Coach Parker began her teaching and coaching career at Sequoyah High School in 2005 where she served as the Girls’ Junior Varsity Coach for two years. Coach Parker departed Sequoyah for Alpharetta High School in 2007, where she served as the Head Girls’ Varsity Coach for six seasons. In 2009, the Alpharetta girls made their first State Playoff appearance under Coach Parker’s direction

and continued to make the Playoffs the next 3 out of 4 years beating top ranked teams such as Brookwood and Kennesaw Mountain. Coach Parker was an assistant coach when the Longhorns made it to the state finals in 2015 for the first time that ended in the Longhorns as State Runner-up. Her favorite Lambert Soccer moment was being a part of the coaching staff for the 2017 State Championship game where the Longhorns defeated Grayson in overtime and won their first STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Club Coaching Experience
Coach Parker coached club from 2010-2012 at UFA where she had an Athena B team. 

Playing Experience
Coach Parker played club soccer in high school for Pensacola Samba in Pensacola, FL. She was a 4-year-letterman in soccer and cross country at Foley High School as well as a 3-year- letterman in basketball and track. Coach Parker played for the University of Alabama Women’s Soccer Team from 2000-2005, where she served as team captain for 2 years.


Coach Parker is happily married to her husband, Michael who is the defensive coordinator for the Pickens County High School Dragons in Jasper, GA. They have two boys Ryan (6 yrs) and Ty (4 yrs). You’ll spot them at the game running up and down the bleachers!!
