Boys Blank South 3-0; Take Region Lead

In front of a great crowd at the Horn on Friday night, the Longhorns were on a mission to avenge an earlier season loss to South. On the front foot from the start, Lambert threatened time and again and you could sense it was only a matter of time. Eoin Griffiths sent a perfect cross-field ball to the foot of Zane Ziegler, who cut back to his left foot and beat the South keeper to put the home team up 1-0. In the second half, South seized momentum briefly and looked dangerous, but the defense stood tall and frustrated the War Eagles, turning the tide back in their favor. Griffiths went from provider to goalscorer a few minutes later with a bullet shot that the keeper couldn't handle. Up 2-0,

Girls Beat South; Tie for Tops in Region

The Longhorns were on a mission to avenge a loss from earlier this season as they took on South at home on Thursday. Down a goal late, Lambert's M.E.
