Jeff Jager

This will be Coach Jager’s first year with the Lady Longhorns. Coach Jager is excited to join the team and help continue the excellent tradition of the program.


Education and Certification
Coach Jager has a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Augusta State University and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Walden University. He currently holds a USSF D License and an NSCAA National Diploma.


Playing Experience
Coach Jager started playing soccer at the age of 6 all the way through college. During his youth, he played at the Classic 1 level for GMSA (Currently LSA). In High School he was a 4 year starter and captain the last two years at West Hall High School. In college he played at Augusta State University, where he was a 4 year starter and helped the Jaguars reach a National ranking of 12 th , in Division II, as a Junior.

Coach Experience
Coach Jager began his coaching experience during college with the local club team, Augusta Arsenal, coaching both boys and girls select soccer. After college he continued his coaching career with individual and small group training, as well as coaching with Forsyth Rowdies. Coach Jager began his high school coaching career in 2003 at North Forsyth as the JV boys coach. Since 2003, Coach Jager has coached at both Forsyth Central and North Forsyth, including two years as the Varsity Boys Coach at North Forsyth in 2014 and 2015. Since 2013, Coach Jager has coached UFA boys and girls academy and select, including taking a U14 Athena F team to an Athena B in just 3 years.


Coach Jager is married to Mary Beth Jager, who teaches business at Lambert. They have three wonderful little girls; Ellie (7), Reese (5), and Olivia (3).
